This meteorite was found in 1917 when two stones, weighing
14.9 kg and 8.9 kg, was plowed up by a farmer. They were not
recognized until 1982. The stones were collected by H. Nininger
and obtained from him by the Field Museum in Chicago in 1940.
Later a couple of stones were found to be distinctly different
from Tulia a.
